Momenteel vindt in Malaga de 9e internationale conferentie ‘Communicating the Museum‘ plaats. Eerder vond deze conferentie plaats in Venetië (2008) en Madrid (2007).
“The success of speakers from Google and Flickr at last year’s conference showed that delegates want to learn more about new media and networking remained a prime objective for participants from all sizes of institutions. In response to this feedback, the Organisation Committee, who met last October in Paris, decided on the theme of Networking, incorporating new media, as this has become vital for all arts organisations. Digital, social, international, local and business networking: how to make the most of the connected world.”
